Our Mission:

The primary Mission of this Corporation shall be focused within Shasta County to help protect the citizens, property, and natural resources from the effects of catastrophic wild land fires.

About The Shasta County Fire Safe Council (SCFSC)

The Shasta County Fire Safe Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to protecting the citizens, property, and natural resources of Shasta County from catastrophic wildfires. SCFSC focuses on public education, improving evacuation routes, reducing hazardous fuels, and promoting healthy, fire-safe communities. Through collaboration with local agencies, community councils, and public-private partnerships, SCFSC seeks to create fire safety plans, reduce fire risks, and secure funding for wildfire prevention projects. The organization operates through volunteer efforts, donations, and grant funding.
