Pre-Project Landowner Participation

We are working to secure future grant funding for wildfire risk reduction projects in our community.

Potential work may include:

• Defensible space around homes and structures
• Vegetation and brush removal
• Tree thinning and ladder fuel reduction
• Roadside clearing for safer ingress and egress routes
• Removal of dead or hazardous vegetation
• Fuel breaks and shaded fuel breaks
• Evacuation route improvements
• Other wildfire mitigation and forest health treatments

“Fuels mitigation” means reducing excess vegetation and wildfire fuels that can increase fire intensity and threaten homes, road access, and public safety.

At this stage, no work is scheduled or guaranteed. We are currently gathering landowner participation to help demonstrate community support and strengthen future grant applications.

Interested landowners may submit a Right of Entry Authorization allowing authorized personnel to access the property for assessment and planning purposes only.

Signing a Right of Entry Agreement:

• Does not obligate you to participate in future work
• Does not guarantee funding or project approval
• Allows potential project areas to be evaluated for future grant opportunities
